Landmines affect over 30 countries worldwide and account for thousands of civilian casualties every year. Increasingly, many
of our clients find themselves working in remote or volatile areas where there is a threat from landmines or other unexploded
ordnance (UXO). Thunder provides a range of bespoke services designed to mitigate the risks posed by Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) and landmines.
Our services include:
• Clearing and rehabilitation of the affected areas and the battle zone
• We offer a wide range of services in the Explosive Ordnance Disposal field.
• Stockpile destruction and ammunition demilitarization.
Our approach is humanitarian in outlook; we support the work and leadership of the United Nations in their efforts to combat ERW and landmines and strictly adhere to the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) throughout our projects.
